Here is the Muenchrath family session that was photographed in October. It was another session that I loved how it turned out and wanted to share.
Here is high school senior Erica who was such blast to photograph…she wanted pictures in the water and on a dock and sine I have not done this style of senior session yet I was all for it. I also have to say her mom and her were such troopers because only thirty minutes before their session my daughter had fallen on a huge rock and cut her leg open wide enough to see the bone. Well long story short I was a bit late for the shoot and my phone was going off the whole session with questions from my husband that sat with my daughter while she got stitches. Thankfully these two were great about me answering texts and calls (which I never turn my phone on during a session) during their session and so I felt bad, but so thankfully to have such understanding clients. Thank you Erica for be such a great client, not only are you beautiful but you are also kind and understanding…that my dear will take you far in life! Good luck this year and in the future!
Gorgeous Miss Taylor was beyond easy to work with her smile that is stunning and contagious (seriously couldn’t help but smile when you are around this girl). We had quite the session from horses almost stepping on us, to grasshoppers swarming us, then on to disturbing baby turkey vultures (now that was a first), then to almost sliding down a rock hill, and finally to an amazing sunset that we chased until we got the perfect shot. Thank you Taylor for going with all of my crazy ideas, have a wonderful senior year and good luck with your future (I am sure it will be bright because you my dear already shine).
Oh Miss Bailey..what can I say…Oh I know you are simply gorgeous and I truly can not believe you are starting your last year of high school. Sincerely where did the years go because I remember meeting you when you were about 18 months old…I know one thing your mom and I have not aged a bit, no way we are that old yet…well you know better than most that we at least don’t act that old! Oh honey you are an amazing girl that is going to take on the world and conquer it and exceed every dream you can imagine! Love you guys and enjoy this year…well not to much because we don’t want to cause gray years for your mama…that is Lauren’s job!
Here is the Manz family who I have been photographing for two years now and every session we get more and more creative how we are going to get the girls to smile…most of the time some sort of wonderful sugary delight (aka candy) works but now that the youngest is two we had to be even more creative. First princess fruit snacks, then delicious giant lollipops, how about some fancy beads, and finally what got us the biggest smiles ever was a vintage children’s book…who would of guessed…but we will take it! Thank you Manz family for always being up for my crazy ideas…enjoy your sneak peek!
This gorgeous girl was a dream to photograph! I was back in my hometown doing photo shoot sessions for the week. It was great to get to go back to my alumni’s football field and capture her with one of her loves..soccer. We spent some time doing urban style downtown Harlan and then off to her family farm capturing her in some very cool spots like an old barn, a rock road, and an old run down truck. There will be more to come from this gorgeous girl when she visits me in Johnston for a studio session. Thank you Ashley for some amazing images and good luck with your senior year!
What a fabulous location this session was at! This gorgeous family just happens to be my brother in law and sister and law and their family and we meet in Panora, Iowa for a Father’s Day picnic so we thought what better time to squeeze in a family session. I of course will not be able to take my normal clients here since it is so far from my home but it was fun to check the historical town out with my family. I love to show off my niece and my nephew and can not get over how cute they are. Thanks Bruck family and enjoy!
Really no other word to describe this family beside…CUTE! I have know Shannon the mom since she was in high school and worked with me and now here she is with three little kiddos of her own. I loved the colors and style she decided on for the session and with the location it couldn’t of been any better. Thank you Koppin family for such a fantastic session and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
