This is sweet little Lexi…okay she was when I first meet her eleven years ago and she was in Kindergarten and now here I am back in Oregon on a very short trip taking her senior pictures…what…wait..how did that happen! I was just at her 8 year old birthday party giving her polly pocket swimming pool and now I am telling her to give me a sassy look that will knock any boy out of his shoes. And guess what she gave me those looks over and over , proof is in the images below. This beautiful girl could be one stunning model, but not only is she gorgeous on the outside but she is also on the inside. Love this girl and I am so proud of what she has become…enjoy your sneak peek Allexis and don’t drive your parents to crazy this last year of high school (well just a little crazy!)
Cheyanne and Alex’s Engagement Session…Johnston, Des Moines, Ankeny Photographer
June 10th, 2013What a fun couple these two are….I was literally having to put my camera down a few times because I was laughing so hard at them. Which I think is the number one important trait for a young couple…laughing with each other (okay that just made me sound so old). I meet these two for a urban setting and then we were heading to a nature setting when of course a huge storm brewed up out of no where…gotta love Iowa. So poor Alex had to put up with engagement photos not once but twice in the same week with me, though he was a good sport about it all. Thank you guys letting me be part of something so special and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
The Schumacher Family Photo Session…Johnston, Ankeny, Des Moines Iowa Photographer
June 3rd, 2013Here is the sweet little Schumacher family who was my one and only photo shoot while was back in Western Iowa…not by choice but Mother Nature had a whole different idea of how many photo shoots I was going to squeeze in Memorial Day weekend. Little Miss Brynn was not always so impressed with me but I did sneak some smiles from her and we were creative on how to get her to look at us and were successful in the long run, because we got some great images of her. Thank you Schumacher family I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
Allie Family Photo Shoot….Johnston, Ankeny, Des Moines Photographer
May 9th, 2013Let me introduce you to one of the cutest little six months old little Miss Kinley. She was so attentive and gave some very cute looks…might not of got one smile of her but I think these might be some of my favorite studio images I have ever taken. We moved super fast and got lots of different looks and used a ton of different props…amazing how much you can get done in one hour when you just keep her naked
We also wanted to capture Kinley who’s dad is in Air Force with his dog tags, hat, and her bloomers that has his name tag on them. Thank you Allie family and I hope you like your sneak peek.
Nine Day Old Newborn Baby Girl…Johnston, Des Moines, Ankeny
May 2nd, 2013This is beautiful Miss Avery who was nine days old when she came to visit me in my home studio. Oh how I love to photograph newborns, it is a very long session usually about three hours and you must have lots of patience to pose the little ones positioned but it is so worth it because I love how the images turn out. I think my very favorite images from this session are the black and white macro images, I just love the clean and crisp style of them. Thank you Nippert family for letting me take these precious images of your new little girl.
Claire & Max’s Two Year Twin Photo Shoot Session…Johnston, Des Moines, Ankeny Photographer
April 28th, 2013Let me introduce you to the Troll’s twins…who will give you quite the workout during a photo shoot…but between this seasoned photographer and some smart parents we out tricked them into smiles and sitting for us (at least for a few seconds to capture them still). This is my second session with these two and I think I am starting to get on their good side because by the end I even got hugs and kisses from them…love when my little clients love me up! Thank you Troll family and Happy 2nd Birthday to some special twins!
Luellen Kids…Johnston, Ankeny, Des Moines Photographer
April 25th, 2013Here are two of the funniest kiddos I have got to work with in a very long time! Their laugher is completely contagious and I caught myself so many times during the session bursting out laughing with them. We not only got to do some of the session indoors in my home studio but I also got to take of advantage of the warmer spring weather outside. Thank you Lullen kiddos for being such amazing models but also for just being you during your session and giving my heart warming smiles and laughs!
Simon’s Children…Johnston, Des Moines, Ankeny Photographer
April 24th, 2013Let me introduce you to the Simon’s kiddos. We pulled out all of the stops to get these images and it was quite the workout but we did it and I must say they turned out pretty darn cute! We wanted to represent the love these two have for each other and I am pretty sure we accomplished this. Thank you Simon’s family and enjoy!
The Adam’s Kiddos…Johnston, Ankeny, Des Moines Photographer
April 22nd, 2013Serious cuteness! These two were so cute…and well sometimes you might just have to pull out the jelly beans and skillets to get smiles…but I tell ya it works like a charm! My favorite images from this session would be the ones of big sister trying to give little brother a kiss. Honestly the last serious of images below was shot after shot…she was going to make sure she got a good old smacker on him! Thank you Adam’s family, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
The Ganzer Boys…Johnston, Ankeny, Des Moines Photographer
April 17th, 2013Here are the Ganzer boys…who may be the sweetest boys ever! Not only was their mom totally good with all of my crazy ideas but so were they…and such little helpers (little muscle men that helped carry my props and my backdrops). Little Mr.Lane is almost 7 months and the perfect age to photograph…he just sits in place and smiles…love that! So I came up with some crazy ideas for Lane’s part of the session and I thought it would be fun to just have him (bare in all) with a teddy bear. Well the cool thing about this bear is that his grandma made it, so I was very happy to capture him having a moment with this bear! Thank you Ganzer boys for being such great models and so easy to work with. I hope you parents love what they see so far!
